“The National Riffle Association, NRA, a powerful United States gun lobby institution has scored a major victory when the United States Senate this evening voted down in flames a bipartisan gun legislation minted by two NRA’s
members, Senators Joe Minchin, a democrat from Virginia and Pat Toomey, a Republican from the state of Pennsylvania. The bipartisan gun legislation was meant to extend backgrounds checks on gun purchasers including closing the gun offshore and loophole which allows purchasing of firearms at gun shows without a requiring a background check”.
