Forward Your Complaints On Shaw’s Appointment to Prez. Sirleaf: Minister Consular, Gabriel Williams Urges Liberians

Liberia Minister Consular to Washington DC, Mr. Gabriel Williams yesterday urged Liberian complaining against the appointment of former Finance Minister Emmanuel Shaw as Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Liberia Aviation Authority to forward their disagreement to President Ellen Johnson-Sirleaf.

The Liberian diplomat made the call yesterday when he appeared as guest on Liberia most prestigious internet radio station, RadioLIB on the popular talk show, “What Shall I Say” hosted by Jerold Cummings. Mr Williams was called to discuss the issue of corruption plaguing the Sirleaf’s government and the recent appointment of Emmanuel Shaw, the former Minister of Finance under the Doe government who callers to the show say he is well known crooked who fraud the country of millions of dollars. Mr. Williams said he as a government official can not question the decision of the President to appointment Mr. Shaw but the best he can do is to tell the callers and Liberian people to take up their grievance with the President . He said that is the democratic process, and the new Liberia each and every Liberia must get involve in shifting the future for our country and children yet  unborn.
