The Chairman of the Liberian Football Association, Musa Bility has been dropped from the race for President of FIFA Presidency.
According to FIFA, the world governing body of football, Musa Bility was dropped from the list of qualified candidates that will contest the FIFA Presidency in February 2016 after that body vetted the candidate by examining corporate records, litigation cases, bankruptcy proceedings, potential regulatory actions taken against the candidate and a review of media reports concerning potential red flags (fraudulent behavior, match manipulation, human rights violations, etc.
The Liberian Football Association head could not pass integrity test after the world governing body of football reviewed these records, ultimately ending the ambition of Mr Musa Bility, the only African that was in the race dream to head the world governing body of football.
Mr Bility could challenge his disqualification to the Court of Arbitration for Sport but it is unlikely that he can convince the court with evidence to contradict the findings of the vetting and would worth the challenge to his disqualification.
