Monrovia- President Ellen Johnson-Sirleaf over the weekend was expelled the ruling Unity Party for sabotaging the party and campaigning against the party’s Standard and Vice Standard Bearers during the October 10th and December 26th 2017 elections.
An official press release issued by the Unity Party under the signature of the Assistant Secretary General for Press, Publicity and Outreach, Mohammed Ali read “the National Executive Committee (NEC) has voted to expel the Standard Bearer Emeritus and anyone doing business with the those expelled, with be doing business so at their own risk.
Others expelled along from the party are, Senator Commny Wesseh of River Gee County, Mrs Medina Wesseh, former executive member and Mr Patrick Worzie, former Deputy Secretary who was expelled for theft of US$11,000.00 worth of stationery from the Lion Stationery Store he took in the name of the party without the approval of the party’s Chairman and Treasurer.
