“You Want To Kill Me”- President Weah Accuses Vice President Taylor?

Monrovia, Liberia- Highly placed and confidential source close to the Vice President of Liberia, Jewel Howard-Taylor, revealed that the Liberian President, George Weah accused his Vice President of wanting to kill him.

The source conveyed that President Weah made the accusation against his Vice President recently when she tried to discuss with him the listing of her party members- the National Patriotic Party of Liberia is one of three  political parties which make up the Coalition for Democratic Change- CDC that won the December 26th election she submitted for subsequent appointment in government but are yet to be appointed.

“Vice President Taylor tried to have the discussion about her partisans being appointed into government as per her listing submitted because she is concerned that all the appointments announced so far by the President are only partisans of the President’s party, the Congress for Democratic Change-CDC and partisans of her party are pressuring her for appointments of her partisans into government”, the confidential source said.

When Vice President Taylor told expressed her concern to the Liberian leader, President Weah told her that he is the President and does not have to consult with her who he appoints and adding, “you think I don’t know you want to kill me?”, the source revealed.

“I am surprise of what you are saying, Vice President Taylor replied to President Weah, the source continued- emphasizing,  that the Vice President told President Weah, “she wears men’s garment and not women’s garment (exact words: I wear brief, I don’t wear p*ts) and excused the President”, the source said.

The confidential source  also revealed that, Vice President Taylor is frustrated and said, “I am Vice President but have no power on the appointments of public officials but Representative Munah Pelham Youngblood, a partisan of the President’s party is the person who the President has given all the power to and decides who is appointed into government”.
